Ceramic Tealight Holder with Fez — Smiling Face
Pottery & ceramicsFrom80,00 MAD

Ceramic Tealight Holder with Fez — Smiling Face

Glazed ceramic tealight holder shaped as a round smiling face, topped with a removable bright red fez. Place a small candle inside and the light escapes through the cut-out eyes and smile. Three colours to choose from — white, yellow, black — each wearing the same red fez. Handmade pottery: the crackle of the glaze and the shade of colour vary from one piece to the next.

Rectangular Thuya Burl Box with Incised Grooves
Thuya woodFrom120,00 MAD

Rectangular Thuya Burl Box with Incised Grooves

A rectangular flat-lidded box cut from a thuya burl. The centre is left smooth to show the speckled figure; groups of incised grooves frame the edges and cross at the corners, and the sides are channelled the same way. Two sizes. Hand-polished varnished wood: the pattern of the burl changes from one box to the next.

Dented Hand-Painted Ceramic Tumbler
Pottery & ceramics40,00 MAD

Dented Hand-Painted Ceramic Tumbler

A handleless tumbler, built and glazed by hand, with a deliberately dented wall: the shape is never perfectly round and the rim waves a little. White glaze over the whole piece, inside included, then a motif painted with a brush — hearts, palm trees, cacti, suns, chevrons, Berber diamonds, lines and dots, in black or in colour. Each tumbler is painted one at a time: the strokes and proportions vary from one piece to the next. The photographs show the range of motifs; tumblers are sold individually.

Glazed Terracotta Cup and Saucer — Ring Handle
Pottery & ceramics50,00 MAD

Glazed Terracotta Cup and Saucer — Ring Handle

A cup and its saucer in glazed terracotta, shaped and glazed by hand. The glaze covers the upper part of the cup and stops short above the foot, leaving the raw clay bare; the saucer is dipped at an angle, one half glazed, the other left plain. The handle is a round ring attached by hand. Eleven colours: blue, navy, grey-blue, green, red, burgundy, plum, orange, mustard, black and ecru. Each piece is dipped by hand, so the dividing line and the depth of colour vary from one cup to the next.

Thuya Burl Puzzle Box (Secret Box)
Thuya wood130,00 MAD

Thuya Burl Puzzle Box (Secret Box)

A secret box carved from a thuya burl: no visible hinge or clasp, only panels and slats that slide. They have to be moved in the right order to release the lid and reveal the compartment inside. The top and edges are cut from a densely figured burl, the sides from straight-grained pale wood. Hand-polished waxed wood: the figuring differs from one box to the next.

Thuya Burl Hair Barrette with Stick
Thuya wood20,00 MAD

Thuya Burl Hair Barrette with Stick

A hair barrette carved from a thuya burl, curved to sit against the nape and pierced with two slots for the stick. The turned, tapered stick holds the hair once it is slid through. Hand-polished waxed wood: the brown and honey flames vary from one barrette to the next.

Thuya Burl Apple Toothpick Holder
Thuya wood120,00 MAD

Thuya Burl Apple Toothpick Holder

An apple turned from a thuya burl, set on the table to hold toothpicks. Lift it by the stalk — a piece of rough burl, left coarse against the polished fruit — and the top comes away: the toothpicks stand waiting in a hollow cut into the solid wood. The rings and flames of the grain draw the cheek of the apple — no two are alike.

Thuya Incense Stick Burner with Pierced Cover
Luminaires & brûle-parfums90,00 MAD

Thuya Incense Stick Burner with Pierced Cover

A long thuya incense burner: the cover, rounded into a half-moon and pierced with black metal-rimmed holes, opens so the sticks can be laid in the trough. Closed, it lets the smoke filter through the piercings along its whole length. The ends are turned from a burl darker than the body. Hand-polished varnished wood.

Thuya Pyramid Incense Burner with Clasped Case
Luminaires & brûle-parfums140,00 MAD

Thuya Pyramid Incense Burner with Clasped Case

A thuya incense burner on a plinth: a pyramid pierced with black metal-rimmed holes through which the smoke escapes. At the base, a hinged case held by a chased brass shell clasp — that is where the incense goes. Hand-polished varnished wood: the knots and grain differ from one piece to the next.

Thuya Burl Pebble Box with Floral Marquetry
Thuya wood110,00 MAD

Thuya Burl Pebble Box with Floral Marquetry

A box turned from a thuya burl, swelling into a pebble shape and polished to a shine. A flowering branch runs right around the body, drawn in pale filet and set with dark red and green inlay: the figure of the wood passes under the pattern without a break. The flat lid, ringed with the same decoration, lifts by a turned knob. A decorative piece to display.

Thuya Wood Chess Set with Sliding Drawer
Thuya wood240,00 MAD

Thuya Wood Chess Set with Sliding Drawer

A chessboard that doubles as the lid of a wooden case: squares of dark figured thuya alternate with pale wood, inside a moulded, rounded-edge frame. A drawer slides out of the side of the base and holds the complete set, turned light and dark pieces included. Game over, everything goes back in and the case becomes an object to display. Hand-polished varnished wood: the grain and shades differ from one piece to the next.

Hand-Painted Moroccan Tagine — Contemporary Patterns
Pottery & ceramicsFrom140,00 MAD

Hand-Painted Moroccan Tagine — Contemporary Patterns

Hand-painted ceramic tagine in the Moroccan pottery tradition: a decorated cone resting on its matching dish, with a glazed knob on top. Six contemporary patterns to choose from — olive branches, colour strokes, anise-green chevrons, Berber mosaic, abstract garden, stylised face — a change from the usual motifs. Each piece is painted freehand, so the lines and shades vary from one to the next: yours will be one of a kind. A decorative and display piece, not intended for cooking.
